Random Dead Presidents Fact of the Day: 4.22.10

deadpresidents:

Not only was James Garfield (1831-1881) ambidextrous and multilingual, but he was also a multitasker.  The 20th President of the Unites States could write Greek with his left hand and Latin with his right hand simultaneously.

Hopefully he didn’t waste too much time performing this party trick in the White House as his term was cut short by an assassin’s bullet just six months after he was inaugurated.
